Description

SeaKlear Phosphate Remover 18oz
Uses and Benefits of SeaKlear®Phosphate Remover

The Problem Exposed
For decades, phosphate control has been used to manage algae growth in ponds, lakes and rivers. Long known as the primary culprit in cases of excessive and resistant algae blooms in ponds and lakes, orthophosphate has now been identified as a source of algae problems in pools as well. Algae control is made easier by lowering orthophosphate levels in pools.

Advantages of Phosphate Remover
Quick, easy-to-use, and cost-effective
No messy mixing
No need to shut down the pool
Beneficial in pools with salt generators
Does not affect alkalinity or create potential for pool scaling with excess
   carbonate

Very Low Phosphate Readings
What should be done when the phosphate test gives a very low or zero reading? Pools with excessive algae can register a very low or zero reading on the phosphate test.

When algae are heavy but the phosphate test registers a low reading, kill the existing algae using chlorine or an approved algaecide such as SeaKlear Algae Prevention & Remover. Once algae have been killed and removed, retest for phosphates and use SeaKlear Phosphate Remover as needed.

SeaKlear Phosphate Remover is not an algaecide and will not kill algae. Treat existing algae in swimming pools with SeaKlear Algae Prevention & Remover.

Proper Levels
for Balanced Water:

pH 7.2 - 7.8
Alkalinity 80 - 120 ppm
Calcium Hardness
150 - 400 ppm
Sanitizer 3 - 5 ppm

Be sure to check your spa water regularly.
Ensure sanitizer levels are within the proper range of 3-5 ppm prior to each use.
If you use your spa more than three times per week your testing and water care should be performed more frequently.
Your filter cycles should be run at a minimum of 6 to 8 hours per day.
To ensure optimum water quality and to keep the water easy to balance be sure to drain your spa at least every three months or more often if the spa is used more frequently.
If you have a bromine generator your water should be drained between 8 and 12 months depending on  usage.  Be sure to always keep your pH balanced and your calcium hardness within proper range to avoid costly corrosive damage.
